Aya Eliav' a multi-disciplinary artist, who lives and works in Barcelona. Her works feature forests, roots, trees and lost landscapes in a style that ranges between figurative and expressive abstract, while part of the objective of her work is to investigate the theme of identity in relation to land, nature and urbanism.

Graduated from the Art and Design Academy Bezalel, Jerusalem, 2002, Aya obtained a grant for specialization at the Academy of fine Art, Rome, 2003, where she focused on studies of painting and etching. She has been dividing her time among painting, performance art, objects and video art, exhibiting solo and group exhibitions worldwide, among them: The Barbican Institute, London, 2012, Haifa Museum of Art, Israel, 2012, Videobrasil Festival, Sao Pauolo, Brazil, 2011, 2013, National Museum of Contemporary Art, Beijing, China, 2010.
