Shirley Wegner is a multidisciplinary artist, working across photography, painting, drawing, installation, and video. She explores representations of the local landscape and the complex mechanisms through which landscape is absorbed into our collective consciousness. Her work has been exhibited internationally in museums and galleries, including the Gogh Museum (Germany), Islip Art Museum (New York), S.L.A.G. Gallery (New York), and Galerie Farideh Cadot (Paris). She is represented by Rosenfeld Gallery (Tel Aviv) and Galerie Farideh Cadot (Paris), teaches at Shenkar College, Musrara School of Art, and the Israeli Art Institute, and was recently appointed curator of
