Anisa Askar is a multidisciplinary artist from Acre – Israel, who inquiries about identity, social criticism, and gender. She traces the shaping of women's status in Israeli society and responds to socio-political changes related to her personal biography through painting, photography, and art installations. Anisa has exhibited her artworks in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Israel and around the world, including the Museum of Islamic Culture in Jerusalem and the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, among others.
