"Sharkiya"
A new exhibition of female students from the art department of the Kibbutzim College of Art, will open in the Herzl 119 Lab space, sponsored by the Isrotel chain. Dr. Zmira Poran Zion lecturer in the art department of the Kibbutzim College of Art alongside the curator of The Lab Sharon Toval, are joining forces to present this exhibition.
Students for courses in "Ethnic and Gender Identity" and "Oriental Artists in Israel", engage in a search for identity anchors for definition in self-determination as artists operating in the field of the arts. The artworks exhibited were born from the theoretical thinking of Jacqueline Kahanov, Prof. Haviva Pdaya, Dr. Vicki Sheeran and Dr. Ketsia Allon. They give expression to the various layers of identity and the anthropological memory inherent in each of us for many generations.
